The Origins of WOOLRICH, from the American Frontier Era
The brand was originally started by a man named John Rich, who had a woolen mill in Liverpool, England. His son, John Rich II, emigrated to America and set up another woolen mill there. In those days, they would load their wagon with items they made, like blankets and socks, and sell them in various villages. This takes us back to the days of the American frontier.
