Many people may have had the experience of finding that their children's clothes or shoes have suddenly become too small due to their rapid growth. Apart from the mounting expenses, the disposal of outgrown shoes is difficult to recycle, and naturally, the continuous disposal puts a load on the environment.
Hence, a unique brand of children's shoes was developed to grow with the child's feet. The brand is from India, and it's called 'aretto'.
Starting with a problem-solving perspective, this brand has been accredited by podiatrists and uses recycled materials. It's well regarded for taking comfort and environmental considerations into account. How did the use of advanced technology lead to the development of these growing shoes? We interviewed the founder, Satyajit Mittal.

Decided to Start a Business to Address Fundamental Questions & Solve Problems

First, tell us about what led to the founding of aretto.
While it's a universal fact that feet grow, shoes don't. Children's feet grow in millimeters, while on the other hand, shoe sizes incrementally increase. Considering these facts, the shoe size perfectly fitting to the feet only lasts for a while.
