BRAI: Parisian Sisters' Loungewear Brand Offers Stylish and Environmentally Friendly Pajamas to the World
What kind of loungewear do you wear at home?
One of Parisians' favorite loungewear options is 'BRAI', designed by the Brai sisters. It's a Paris-based brand that's not yet available in Japan.
Since its foundation in Paris in 2017, the brand has grown in popularity due to its colorful, pop design, sustainable production background, and concept incorporating traditional crafts.
The Parisian sisters manage the business, with the older sister Lauren handling the business side and the younger sister, and founder, Estelle in charge of art direction and design. The brand started as a children's loungewear line and now offers items for everyone, from babies to adults. They offer a wide range of colorful items that brighten your home, from pajamas, gowns, and room shoes, to pouches.
The all-handmade original animal motifs like the blue tiger, horse in a blanket, camel, and crab are made with the traditional Indian craft, block print. Estelle's career in luxury fashion brands and her experience in the US influenced the designs and concept.
