Founded in America in 1914, Brooks is a long-established running shoe brand with over 100 years of history. The new model released this season, Glycerin MAX, has been developed to provide runners with infinite energy and incorporates innovative technology not found in traditional shoes.

The midsole, which is the thickest in the brand's history, features the latest cushioning foam, DNA Tuned. The development of this foam is based on Brooks' unique new technology. What kind of material is DNA Tuned? And what kind of shoe is "Glycerin MAX"?

Innovative Material that Balances Different Functions with a Single Foam

The pursuit of comfort is what the "Glycerin MAX" aims for. While offering maximized cushioning capability, it supports smooth weight transfer and provides a pleasant ride feel. Through trial and error to create a shoe that makes runners feel like they want to keep running indefinitely, the new foam material, DNA Tuned, was born.

"DNA Tuned is a next-generation nitrogen-injected foam that uses DNA LOFT foam, created through two stages of injection molding and supercritical foaming technology. The white outer part of the midsole and the inner colored part differ in bubble sizes. The bubbles in the white section are larger, providing softness and high cushioning characteristics.
