Since then, it has garnered popularity in outdoor activities such as trail running, hiking, mountain biking, and not only for those purposes but also beloved by travelers, recently it has gained popularity as town-use shoes.
So what updates have been made to the "XA PRO 3D,"\ which is now in its 9th generation. And where does the popularity of "XA PRO" lies? We talked to Michihiro Ishida, manager of the Salomon marketing team, and Taku Yamamura from the Salomon soft goods MD team.

"The model name XA stands for Cross Adventure. In 2001, Salomon introduced a shoe with a chassis for the first time for the Raid Race, which was based on and improved functionally is XA PRO." (Ishida)Adventure racing is a race for the goal by performing various events such as trekking, trail running, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting with orienteering in natural fields like mountains, rivers, and sea.
