The Incredible Double Feature of the Unique Technology, 'Omni-Heat Infinity', in Columbia's Outerwear
What works in the field works in the city. The 'Omni-Heat Infinity', a proprietary technology of the outdoor brand 'Columbia', is making waves. The outerwear that features this technology has almost doubled in use, proving its convenience in the city. Although it seems thin at first glance, it allows for comfortable, warm wear.

Design that Prevents Loss of Body Heat by Wrapping Insulation Material on Both Sides with Heat-reflecting Fabric

Many padded clothing items, such as down jackets, have seams on the surface due to their structure. These seams, designed to prevent uneven filling, can create 'cold spots' where the layers of insulation-breathing air are thinner, leading to decreased insulation. But there's an outerwear that not only overcomes this inevitable downside but also enhances insulation using unique technology: the 'Arch Rock Double Wall Elite Hooded Jacket'.
"By arranging the stitches, which are typically used to hold the insulation in place, inside the clothing, we're avoiding the creation of cold spots. It's not a particularly rare design, but covering the surface with the heat-reflective and highly insulating fabric 'Omni-Heat Infinity' is unique to this product. By eliminating cold spots and preventing your body heat loss with highly insulating fabric, we've made a jacket that improves warmth and comfort."
The 'Omni-Heat Infinity' technology was adopted in Columbia's winter wear from 2021, but it's not only used inside the jacket—it's also used on the outside. Normally, insulation is provided by a single layer, but this product features two layers of insulation. This makes it warm, despite its sleek look. There's no need for bulky clothing to stay comfortably warm in the winter.
"Our top-of-the-line products, in both men's and women's variants, feature the 'Double Wall Elite Structure,' which uses 'Omni-Heat Infinity' on both the outer and inner surfaces of the garment. Without increasing bulk and maintaining an active fit, these jackets are not only suitable for outdoor use but casually fit as streetwear."
