Kyocera's Inkjet Printer 'FOREARTH' Contributes to Reducing Environmental Impact in the Fashion Industry
Kyocera Corporation developed the inkjet dyeing printer 'FOREARTH' and announced its entry into the textile printer field.
The printer independently develops pigment ink and contributes to the problem of water pollution during the dyeing process of printing patterns or designs, which was a challenge in the fashion industry, by fabric printing that reduces the amount of water used to nearly zero.
Moreover, because it does not require abundant water resources like conventional methods, it contributes to reducing logistics costs and stock by not choosing where to set up the printer.
Therefore, we asked Kenichi Mukai and Sho Taniguchi, who were involved in the development of 'FOREARTH' in the company's IDP Business Development Department, about the development history, features, and strengths of the product, and future developments.

Background & Features of 'FOREARTH'
The development of 'FOREARTH' started as a new business of the company from 2020. They aimed to develop products that contribute to solving social problems by integrating various technologies owned by the company.
