Elimate Sweat and Aging Odor by About 99% in Approximately 30 Minutes! Harnessing Technology with Socks 'VIBSOX'
A product of YAGI & Co., Ltd., the anti-virus textile brand 'VIBTEX' was born in 2020. With the use of fabric materials treated with anti-virus treatment developed in collaboration with YAGI and Takahashi Rensen Co., Ltd., they offer a wide range of products, including jackets, uniforms, bottoms, and hats.
In March 2023, they started offering socks made using VIBTEX technology, known as 'VIBSOX'. VIBSOX are said to have the effect of eliminating sweat and aging odor by about 99% in approximately 30 minutes. Moreover, they are made exclusively in Nara, which allows for customizable lengths to achieve personal comfort. They also have unique design features.
How did the development of VIBSOX come about, and what unique strengths set it apart from competitors?
We asked Tsukasa Urabe from YAGI who developed the VIBSOX fabric, Soichiro Minagawa from Hakuhodo Kettle who handled branding, and Tatsuhiko Maeda from Naraya Co., Ltd. who oversaw design and development.
