Founder and Designer
An Unmistakable Strength in Delicacy
Educated in Paris, experienced in London, and crafted in Italy—but at their core, the light and shadow of Beirut, Lebanon, shine through. Andrea Wazen's shoes are a rich tapestry woven from the threads of multiple cities and sensibilities.
The first thing you'll notice about her shoes is their exquisite delicacy. Lace, tulle, and sheer fabrics abound. Uppers are cut like flower petals, while slender straps gracefully embrace the foot. Her nude-toned sandals seem to float, and delicate mesh pumps possess a lightness that makes them feel like a second skin.

However, that initial impression soon evolves. There's not just graceful sweetness, but a clear structure and powerful will. Think sharply cut toes, meticulously calculated heel heights, and strategically placed straps for stability. This duality—strength residing within fragility—is the very core of the Andrea Wazen universe.
"To me, femininity is never fragile. It is, in fact, powerful," she states.
True to her word, her designs masterfully balance softness with strength. Romantic yet edgy. Soft yet strong. It's this dynamic tension that continues to fascinate her.
A Contrast of Beauty, Nurtured in Beirut
You can't talk about the Andrea Wazen aesthetic without talking about Beirut. She describes her home city as "a place where roughness and beauty, chaos and elegance coexist."Picture city streets bathed in Mediterranean light, home to people who continue to dress up and express themselves despite bearing the scars of history. It's a place with a poignant, powerful sense of beauty that transcends simple luxury.
"Living in such a high-contrast environment, I came to appreciate a living beauty tied to emotion," Andrea explains. "My fascination with lace, soft textures, and floral elements all stems from this, and it continues to influence my designs today."

But this isn't simply about imitation. In Andrea's hands, delicate elements are fused with modern structures, giving them new meaning. They are not just ornamentation; they are a form of expression for the modern woman.
"Lebanese beauty is bold, feminine, and incredibly expressive," she says. "It balances sensuality and strength without sacrificing either. That very spirit is reflected in my designs."

Bringing a Couture Sensibility to Your Feet
For Andrea, fashion has been a natural mode of self-expression since she was a child. She was especially drawn to shoes for their unique ability to embody both structure and delicacy. She discovered the unique magic of shoes in their power to transform ephemeral materials like tulle and lace into three-dimensional objects that move with the body. After studying at Istituto Marangoni in Paris, she moved to London. While gaining experience at renowned Maisons such as Christian Louboutin, she learned about more than just form and beauty; she mastered the arts of craftsmanship and precision, and came to understand the profound power of shoes to transform how a person feels.

In the brand she launched from this wealth of experience, shoes are far more than mere accessories. They are treated as "pieces with the same emotional value as couture."
This philosophy is vividly expressed in her footwear. A pair of delicate strappy sandals designed to flatter the ankle or a sharp, pointed-toe pump has the power to transform your posture and presence instantly. Your gaze lifts, your spine straightens. For Andrea, this is the true meaning of luxury—the power to inspire these subtle, yet significant, transformations.

"I want to create shoes that empower women, making them feel naturally uplifted and confident. After all, shoes are an expression of our emotions and identity."
Today, this philosophy has evolved into a concept she calls "emotional luxury."
She makes no compromises when it comes to quality. Her shoes are crafted in Italy, where she works closely with master artisans to bring her delicate vision to life. How can lace be made both strong and beautiful? How can the lightness of tulle be structured? How can a delicate strap provide stability? She has meticulously found an answer for each of these challenges.

She believes that elegance and comfort aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, beauty can only truly exist when it's comfortable.
This philosophy resonates with the modern concept of luxury—beauty not for ostentation, but for inner fulfillment, and a level of perfection designed to be cherished for years. It's this value that is winning over a growing base of support.
A World Beyond Shoes
As Andrea Wazen gains recognition, primarily in Europe and the United States, Andrea says its future will expand into a "holistic expression of modern femininity."While she considers expanding into accessories and new categories, the core of the brand remains unchanged.
"To be emotive, sophisticated, and timeless. To stay true to craftsmanship. Femininity is romantic yet edgy, soft yet strong."

In these uncertain times, to remain beautiful while embracing contradictions is a form of intelligence.
Andrea Wazen's shoes support this intelligence from the ground up. The delicate heel is more than just an ornament—it holds the power to lighten the stride of today's women, bestowing them with a graceful confidence.
