"To ensure it could be used for both outdoor and commuting purposes, the design needed to be as simple as possible. Previously, we used water-resistant tape on the front pocket, but in the new model, we've designed the zipper of the front pocket to be hidden, enhancing the stylish image.

"Regarding color variations, we are offering two colors—gray and black—with a focus on business use."

We also focused on the form to enhance versatility.

"If the top is too square, it creates a stiff business look, making it hard to use during off-time, which is a downside.

"So, we inclined the top form to add a moderate casual touch. This also created a functional benefit, making zipper access to the main compartment smoother."

"However, UNIQLO has achieved the price of 4,990 yen by thoroughly reviewing production costs and collaborating with suppliers. I haven't seen a backpack with the same specifications and versatility in this price range within the market."

Since its launch, it has already surpassed sales of the previous model by about three times.
