SUZURI Offers a New Creative Experience: Surisuri AI Labo
The service 'SUZURI by GMO Pepabo' (hereafter, SUZURI) allows users, with just a few clicks from a computer or smartphone, to easily create and sell original merchandise. SUZURI has released a variety of features to date, using the latest technology to broaden the scope of creativity for creators.
Among these, SUZURI has commenced offering the 'Surisuri AI Labo', in collaboration with Stability AI which provides the image-generation AI 'Stable Diffusion.' This feature allows users to materialize their ideas, enhancing the enjoyable aspects of creating.
We spoke with Mirute Makiyama, Product Manager of the SUZURI division at GMO Pepabo Inc., about the appeal of this new feature and the relationship between AI technology and manufacturing.

Mirute Makiyama
She joined a CtoC startup as a director immediately after graduation. After stints at Excite Japan Co., Ltd. and Radiotalk Inc., she joined GMO Pepabo Inc. in November 2020 and is currently working as the Product Manager of the original merchandise creation and sales service 'SUZURI by GMO Pepabo'.

SUZURI is a service that began with the concept, 'Anyone can easily create and sell their original merchandise for free.' It has significantly lowered the hurdles that many people faced, such as 'opening a shop,' 'producing products,' 'managing inventory,' and 'shipping,' making it easier to start managing an online shop than with any other e-commerce platform.Share Article
