The 1990s, a time often remembered for its fashion and makeup trends, saw an abundance of miscellaneous goods as well. The era was truly inundated with diverse and quirky commodities. Now, inexpensive and cute items can be readily found in dollar stores, but back in the day, there were plenty of shops selling interesting and unique items that you wouldn't find at a dollar store.

Their merchandise—from Bruce Lee memorabilia to items featuring old guys—was a big hit among high school girls in the late '90s. It was a time overrun with a variety of fashion styles, including gyaru and Harajuku trends, but almost everyone has visited an Uchu Hyakka store at least once.
