Here's what Principal Aota had to say about commissioning Fujiwara for the uniform design.
"I've been on friendly terms with Hiroshi Fujiwara and once asked him at a dinner, 'Have you ever designed school uniforms?' He replied, 'No,' so I asked if he'd like to try, and he agreed immediately. Since we were students, Hiroshi has continually taken on challenges through collaborations with high-profile brands. Given that our educational philosophy includes the word 'challenge', I wanted someone like Hiroshi, who embodies that spirit, to design our uniforms.
