Nisshinbo Textile, under the slogan of “Sustainable Textile Business,” demonstrates its eco-friendly spirit with waste-not-want-not principles in product development. Along with “Oikos” and “Meguri Cotton,” the company is actively working on circular economy projects like “Fiber to Fiber.”

Longer cotton fibers create higher-quality threads, making it challenging to produce threads from short recycled cotton fibers. However, using proprietary technology, they succeeded in developing “Meguri Cotton” with recycled fibers and are now taking on their next challenge.

Kazuhiko RenzoThe Development Materials Division develops three materials: the non-woven fabric “Oikos,” polyurethane elastic fiber “Mobilon,” and urethane material “Elastomer.”
