Based in Seoul, Korea, the digital fashion startup Oscar Futurera is hosting a marketplace and meta-fashion showroom, OFOTD. Through this platform, they are selling both physical clothes and digital versions of clothes worn by famous artists, including K-POP stars.
Through this platform, the company aims to create a new ecosystem involving artists and creators. We conducted an email interview with Jimi Lee, CEO of Oscar Futurera, the operator of "OFOTD," and Woosup Shin, CSO and co-founder of the company.

Breaking Down the "Formula for Success"

How did Oscar Futurera, the parent company of "OFOTD," get started?
JimiI used to work for a beauty brand, but over the years, I saw the competition in the industry intensify, with brands emerging and disappearing in short cycles.
We felt the limitations of a brand-based industry and wanted to explore a future ecosystem rooted in creativity and diversity. I discussed these ideas extensively with my longtime friend and collaborator, Woosup, and that's how we started Oscar Futurera.
