Drawing attention with their fashion NFTs are THE DEMATERIALISED founders, Karinna Nobbs and Marjorie Hernandez. It's worth examining their strategic reasons for specializing in fashion NFTs, and how they analyze NFTs.
After our previous article, this publication features Karinna's perspectives on their future prediction.
The Three Groups Purchasing Fashion NFTs
NFTs are a novel concept for many. So who are the people choosing virtual products over physical ones?
Purchasers can be broadly categorized into three groups.
The first group is what we refer to as 'Crypto Natives' – those who already hold, trade, and invest in other cryptocurrencies. They view these as 'Crypto Art' rather than 'Crypto Fashion' investments.
The second group consists of 'Fashion Industry Customers'. Many of them are first-time buyers, not just on our NFT marketplace but also at our competitors who offer digital fashion.
The last group is 'Gamers', which seems to be a little skewed. The gaming industry already hosts an extensive range of platforms and people, each with different systems and game engines. As such, traditional game owners seem not to be very fond of NFTs, expressing disinterest in integrating NFTs into their platforms.
