Project Ars

"ARS ELECTRONICA 2022" (September 7-11, 2022) is one of the world's largest media art events, held in Linz, Austria. In the STARTS (Innovation at the Nexus of Science, Technology, and the ARTS) category, "Ambient Weaving", which was co-developed by ZOZO NEXT Corporation, Yasuaki Kakehi laboratory at The University of Tokyo, and Hosoo Co., Ltd., received the Honorary Mention award and is set to be showcased at the event. "Ambient Weaving" is a fusion of traditional craftsmanship and state-of-the-art technology. In this article, we will introduce its exhibited content, the passion behind the project, and future prospects.
