Emi Kusano, an artist who uses AI and NFT to create art, is at the forefront of the industry. Known for her distinctive design reminiscent of Japanese girl anime, she's also the co-founder of the generative NFT, 'Shinsei Galverse', which has gained a global hit with a total transaction amount of over 1.6 billion yen. Moreover, her son, Zombie Zoo Keeper, is a renowned NFT artist.
In 2023, her works graced the cover of WWD Japan and were listed in NFT auctions co-hosted by Christie’s, a famous art auction house with the longest history in the world, and Gucci. Her artworks continue to captivate people both domestically and internationally.
Until March 3 of this year, the project 'Zombie Zoo Keeper' with her son was displayed at the 'MOT Annual 2023 Synergies, or Between Creation and Generation' at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. Kusano also served as a juror for the 'Nittere Imaginarium Award', which is featured in the concurrently held 'MOT Annual Extra'.
