Later, became a member of Teijin Frontier Knitting Co., Ltd. (formerly 'Teijin Kako Ito Co., Ltd.') and the Functional Clothing Development Group of the Processing Technology Department of Teijin Limited. Since 2014, he has been in his current position as the head of the Functional Textile Development Department (now the Apparel Textile Product Development Department) at Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd., consistently leading the development of high-performance materials.

The primary reason is the expansion of the sports market.In the past, many synthetic fiber fabrics were used in sportswear, mainly polyester and nylon. Since each of them has different characteristics, they didn't compete against each other.
