The Base Model Is the Long-selling "Solano Hoody"
First, please tell us about the base model, the "Solano Hoody."
It debuted in 2009 as a hoody-type shell jacket. This hiking model utilizes GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER®, which combines windproof, waterproof, and breathable properties.
What kind of material is it?
It is made from a material that features breathability and WINDSTOPPER® functionality. While it's not fully waterproof like GORE-TEX®, the membrane itself does not allow water to pass through, providing excellent water resistance.
The "Solano Hoody" is also frequently seen in urban settings.
This model is among the top for comfort within Arc'teryx's shelter range. Its three-dimensional structure allows for easy movement, and the choice of lightweight and soft fabric makes it casual enough for everyday wear. The minimalist design, stripped of ornamentation, allows for versatile styling.
