If you keep wearing your favorite plain white T-shirt, the color eventually changes. Many of us have experienced this.
So are T-shirts simply consumable items? When it comes to tangenet, the answer is "no".
The brand’s CHAMP T-SHIRT uses a special fabric and processing method that make it both stain-resistant and less prone to yellowing.
This almost magical T-shirt, which stays white like new for ages—how was it created? The brand’s designer, its creator, shares the story behind its birth.

Brand Concept: Blending Western & Japanese Elements
Tangenet was established in 2021 by designer Mitsuru Yoshiya.
"The brand name is a coined word from tangent, gene, and network. Our philosophy is to deliver the technology and DNA of Japanese materials through manufacturing made possible by connecting people at different points."
Before starting the brand, Yoshiya worked at a major apparel company as a designer for a men’s brand.
"During my time there, I traveled all over Japan each season, exploring production areas and engaging in different aspects of making things. That experience convinced me that the quality of Japanese textiles is world-class. One of our brand’s missions is to introduce the strengths of Japanese craftsmanship through clothing."
