Not Just the Shoes – The Apparel Feels Just as Great! Looking at New Balance's Apparel Line "MET24"

New Balance has produced numerous iconic running shoes. However, did you know that their apparel is also gaining attention recently? This time, we spoke to the project manager of New Balance's apparel line "MET24" to learn about its concept and the technology it incorporates.

From a Popular Bottoms Collection to an Evolved Apparel Line

New Balance is known for iconic sneakers such as the "M990," "M1300," and "M2002." But in recent years, their apparel has also been gaining tremendous support. That's New Balance's apparel line "MET24." Takeshi Ogaku, Senior Manager of the Apparel Product Department at the brand, shared how "MET24" came to be.
 
"First, in 2019, we launched a bottoms-focused collection called 'WAIST TO TOE,' designed to enhance the aesthetics of New Balance shoes. This collection gained recognition and support, helping establish our apparel line.
 
"From there, we expanded to include jackets that paired well with the bottoms collection. To create an apparel line that could be offered in New Balance stores worldwide, we established 'MET24.'"
