After graduating from Keio University with a degree in Environmental Information, I worked for a manufacturer and then served as an assistant to designer Yoshiharu Yamanka from 2012 to 2016. After that, I spent a year in Scotland and am currently active as a freelancer.
I am exploring expressions to convey messages clearly while writing for various media such as "Nikkei Design" and engaging in exhibition curation and copywriting.
Some of my notable works include the curation of the 70th anniversary exhibition of the University of Tokyo's Institute of Industrial Science, titled "POTENTIALITIES: Exhibition For A Possible Future" (National Art Center, 2018), and writing texts for the exhibition "Insects: Models for Design" (21_21 DESIGN SIGHT, 2019).

Last month, I went to Paris. It was my first overseas business trip since the global pandemic began in spring 2020. The tremendous fatigue from the long-distance flight, whether it was due to the Siberian route or the unnoticed decline of my body, is unclear, but I arrived at Charles de Gaulle on the evening of September 24.
The purpose of my trip was Paris Fashion Week, commonly known as Paris Collection. While I had attended various design weeks in the past, the fashion world seemed a bit different, almost like a separate realm. However, given that it is a world rarely seen, I had a compelling reason to make the effort to attend at this time.
One reason for my attendance was the show of the brand CFCL. The brand, founded by former Issey Miyake Men designer Yusuke Takahashi in 2020, held its first show in Paris. I have had the honor of working as a copywriter with them since their inception. Since I was involved in this collection as well, in a way, it could be said I came to see a part of my own work... maybe.
