While making clothes at my sewing machine today, I heard a lively "LINE!" call from my electronic communication device. This proves that we exist in a world line realized by the global system. Hmm, a writing request about fashion and technology, huh. With one foot on the sewing machine pedal and opening the forbidden fruit print electronic notebook, I can't help but laugh, thinking that I am already embodying fashion and technology at this point as I jot down my thoughts. Please join me while I enjoy my coffee.
When I think of the word technology, the first person that comes to mind is Nikola Tesla (1856-1943). Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American electrical engineer, physicist, and inventor. He was known as the heretical genius feared by Edison and left behind numerous achievements, including the invention of long-distance power transmission and wireless communication technology. In the late 19th century, Tesla studied a power transmission system via wireless methods and an information transmission system, naming it the "World System." The beauty of the enormous wireless transmission tower of that World System, the Wardenclyffe Tower, is unforgettable. It was an era when the line between electricity and magic was still blurry. Many must have held a sense of awe towards its aura, as if it were a religious structure for offering prayers rising to greater heights.
