YourFIT365 measures the foot using an in-store 3D foot measuring device and recommends shoes that fit the customer's feet from the products available in the store based on the obtained data. Customers can receive advice from a shoe fitter in the store, and once their feet are measured in-store, they can check their foot size and recommended products through the app afterwards.
We asked Yasuyuki Sato from Isetan Mitsukoshi about the launch of YourFIT365, its usage flow, user reactions, and future plans.

From "Matching the Shoe" to "Finding Shoes that Fit Your Feet"
Could you tell us what led to the launch of YourFIT365 at your company?
The concept of "starting with the feet" was introduced to create an experience where customers can choose shoes that fit their feet, rather than adjusting to the shoes.
During development, there was a challenge of ensuring that the measured foot data matched the fitting feel when customers actually wore the shoes. However, this was supplemented by the in-store stylist’s (salesperson’s) knowledge and the advice they provide.
