Can you tell us about the origins of Shu Uemura?
KusakaShu Uemura was founded in 1967 by hair and makeup artist Shu Uemura.
In his early 20s, Uemura battled tuberculosis for about five years. At that time, it was considered a serious illness, leading him to think, "I might have a short life, so I should do what I want to do."
