Could you tell us about the background and history of your company?
Since our founding in 1915, we have been pursuing the ultimate black dye – blacker, more beautiful, and fade-resistant – for over 100 years as a black-dyeing specialist. 'Montsuki' refers to black kimonos dyed in special black dyeing factories in Kyoto. They are positioned as the highest formal attire, with five family crests drawn on the black-dyed fabric.
