Anyone Can Design Virtual Fashion with 'The Fabricant Studio'
Based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, The Fabricant is the world's first digital fashion house. Last year, we beta-launched 'LEELA*', which has now been reborn and officially launched this fall as 'The Fabricant Studio'. This platform, which allows anyone to design accessible virtual fashion that can be worn in the metaverse, is attracting attention worldwide, starting with the fashion and crypto communities. This time, we interviewed Michaela Larosse, the person in charge of the platform's content and strategy.
Towards Creativity & Democratization in Fashion
In our previous interview, how is 'The Fabricant Studio' connected to your previous activities?
Right after our previous interview, we started beta testing the platform. With many people spending time indoors due to the pandemic, we received a lot of great feedback from the beta test. From the beginning, we envisioned helping people express their identities in the virtual space, and over time, that mechanism has evolved little by little.This article is for members only.
