BLAST Inc.'s Femtech brand, "Nagi." Even before the word "Femtech" became widely known in Japan around 2020, they had already been introducing absorbent shorts to the domestic market.
Since its founding, Nagi has actively worked to place products in stores as well as selling through e-commerce, providing users with opportunities to interact with the products firsthand. Nagi recently launched the industry’s first try-on service, "Nagi home try on."
We spoke with the company's COO, Yuuri Shimojo, about this service and more about Nagi.

Purchase Anytime, Anywhere

First, could you tell us about the overview of the "Nagi" brand?
Launched in May 2020 with the concept of "lingerie that liberates you," we developed shorts that incorporate multiple layers of materials with absorbent, waterproof, and deodorizing functions, making them usable on any day. Previously, products like liners were expected to be disposable, but we have crafted reusable products made in Japan.
When we started this business, terms like Femtech were not known in Japan. However, from the beginning, our mission was to empower Japanese women, running our business with the desire to offer diverse options regarding societal issues and physical concerns.
